I wish I could recommend matrix to people, but I consider the current available clients way too user-unfriendly. Element’s UI/UX is really confusing for non-techie, even techie. Its settings are way too bloated. A lot of other clients have the same problems.

I have been using Element X on TestFlight, and it fixes most of the things I hated for the previous version. It looks awesome with SwiftUI. It’s still missing some basic features but I'm sure they will add it later. I hope they release it soon, and recommend it to everyone.
