I understand most owners donate to conservatives because they're all billionaires, but the fact that the team itself is donating to anyone is kind of weird to me.

They seem to want nothing more than to destroy public education and I have no idea how you even become dumb enough to want more dumbasses. I would think a terrible private school taught them public school is bad but I’ve known plenty of people who went to private and parochial schools and none of them, no matter how bad their education, thought universal K-12 education is somehow bad.

If you believe what they actually say, sure. I think they care more about "opening up new markets for investment" i.e. the complete privatization of education in this country, an area in which they are heavily invested already. If public schools are dismantled the DeVosses will reap a tidy profit.
