The source said she faced 12 allegations, including accepting donations from a corporation in the form of payments to campaign staff.
Dhalla was accused of failing to disclose the involvement of a non-Canadian citizen in her campaign, which the party alleges would amount to foreign interference if it happened during an election period.
She had no chance of winning why is she kicking up a fuss? I know the whole democratic process means you have a chance up until after the ballets are counted but really, she was a very obvious conservative dressed in liberal clothing.
I think it has to do with her motivations. Let's say I don't think her candidacy is organic...
She's probably kicking up a fuss to create the same "The elections are rigged" sentiment that conservatives have thoroughly exploited in the US.

Like the other commenter said: Kim Campbell. Basically the same reason why the NDP haven't been in power federally since the 90s (thanks, Bob Rae).
Bob Rae's strategy for coping with the recession was brand new, never tried before. It worked to the degree that it is now studied and emulated. Ontario had one of the best governments at the time. It's not Bob Rae's fault, it's Ontario's fault.
I know that. It's not me that you have to convince. But it's dishonest to pretend that he's not the reason why the NDP have not held meaningful federal power since.
Either you agree with me that it's not Bob Rae's fault, or you continue to blame Bob Rae, you can't have it both! It's not dishonest, it's the truth.
So I can't point out how others feel about Rae while disagreeing personally? Odd. Last time I checked, I can't elect the NDP by myself.
