Bathroom carpet is another thing that thankfully didn't catch on. Well, not too widely. My grandparents had bathroom carpet... It was always a gross idea.
That bathroom would rock for party gatherings. The parties I went to tended to get more than you may expect in a bathroom at a time, though we'd clear out if requested of course. Hungover it may not be the best bathroom to be in though.

We had carpet in a bathroom in one of my childhood homes too, and it was awful! A different home had carpet in the kitchen, which was also foul.
