I mean, it’s important to find joy in the small things and to try to resist the world getting worse. Only focusing on the figurative flowers because your life is good enough is lib shit though, so I get where you’re coming from.

You organise community, do local political activism, support candidates and run for offices. If there is enough of you, you will get your non-nazi government in 50 years or so.
That's what nazis did for the last 50 years, and that's where they are right now.

Oh how you would love to be absolved of any agency. Of course there were billionaires, you were supposed to fight them, you had the whole system for it, your whole country was built on it. Instead you capitulated the second they got bold.

This is key. Obviously it doesn't solve every problem, but focusing on what actionable good you can do in your community is how we change the world.

Keep heart, and keep planting flowers.

ironic considering this shitty doodle was AI generated, counteracting any hypothetical flowers they're supposedly planting. the original os on the company's instagram.

But 2024 wasn't even that bad by comparison... Was the comic supposed to say "2025"?

Presumably the OC was made in 2023... whenever "now" is tends to be thought of as the worst part (the worst so far=still the best of what will come?).

This looks like ai

The hands, the trees, the weird blending of flowers, etc

Hrm, I would hate to think so but... maybe? If only it would helpfully label itself, we could appreciate the message itself untainted by such worries.
