What is this for? Is it a border crossing? They all seem stuck on the line

Edit: It's a toll road. Which yeah, extra lanes would make sense in that case as you could process more vehicles quicker.

I am all for pedestrian centred infrastructure and there is plenty of reasons why the "just one more lane" doesn't work but you don't have to make this crap up
