[?] Tips for a trip from Germany to Romania, then to Croatia
Do you folk have any tips about bicycle routes in central Europe ? Are there remarkable things you dearly remember or places/routes you wish you didn't go though ?
My gf and I are planning our summer trip, we are going from Rheinland Pfalz in Germany to Transylvania in Romania and then in Dalmatia in Croatia and back home via a boat then through Italy. It's our first very long trip, we only did a 3 weeks long route last summer, but this time we have 4 months.

Don't underestimate the temperatures you will encounter in Dalmatia in summer. Over 35C is normal, 40C is fairly common.
Yeah, we are a bit afraid of that. I hope it cools down a bit in the night, especially in camping sites outside of cities.
I know people who cycled to Romania from CZ. In CZ I can get you general tips and few routes I did and regions I am more familiar.
But as I am on tour I won't be seeing them for at least 5 months.
Would also be interested in any feedback about this! As you must know, you can basically follow the Danube for the whole of that trajectory. Have a great time.
