What would be an easy going species to start off with?
I was thinking of getting a tarantula as a buddy but I don't know the first thing about them. Could you point me to some reliable resources to do some research and perhaps recommend a good species to get started with?

Don't know anything about spooders, but maybe these lists will help?
I swear by the Honduran Curly Hair being the absolute BEST starter T out there. They are incredibly chill, easy to care for, excellent eaters and dont have a ton of requirements past ground cover, a hide that they can burrow into and a water dish. Substrate that holds moisture and HVAC tape (water resistant) work wonders for keeping the humidity up. Def get one of those humidity/temp gauges. I use Govee simply bc i already have the app set up for my personal lights and for the ball pythons.
