Those who think this is only going to be four years are deluding themselves.

A upsettingly large portion of the country doesn’t understand how the world works in any meaningful capacity

At this point I'd rather see California split off and become it's own country (not gonna happen, but I can dream).

That would be great, but what would prevent the fascist country next door with the most powerful military in the world from annexing it back?

Imagine if California joined the European Union. Ultimate freedom country.

That'd be pretty rad. Hell, I'd be down to be Canadian at this point. I just want to live a quiet, peaceful life dammit. I'm not looking forward to the next few years.

Doesn't the EU require countries to be physically located somewhere around Europe?

Unfortunately yes. There are some exceptions, like French Guyana in South America being in the European Union, but that's because it's under the republic of France.

Also, Cyprus is not technically in Europe, but it's still in the EU.

Cyberpunk theme intensifies

Where are my goddamn robot arms. We have corporate hellscapes, hacker collectives, and private militaries, but I still can’t get robo limbs at a Walgreens walk up clinic.

Try being a Federal employee. Or trans. Or a minority. Or a veteran. Or in need of various social services. Or any combination.

For some the last 2 weeks already feels like a year. For others it's potentially life ending.

Fuck everyone who voted for this.

Maybe you mean "four years of progress undone"?

It hasn't even been two fucking weeks. We're still 2 weeks away from being 1/52 of the way through this hell (assuming we still have sections in 4 years)

You reached the end
