I didn't know there is a trending page. All I ever seen are the people I follow and their toots/boosts and the instance I'm on, so I am out of the loop on a lot of features since I don't use them on moshidon.

Ay oh, a fellow Moshidon enjoyer! When you go to the search tab, there's a header called 'Posts', that's what I'm talking about.
