Dinosaur jr would be the greatest band ever...
If they'd only had a good vocalist. Am i the only one having a hard time enjoying the beautifull music because of the vocals?
I love Js vocals as it adds to the honesty of the music
His erm.. underwhelming singing is very endearing! Lol. Some singers are more of an acquired taste. And besides that, you can't have Dinosaur Jr without J Mascis. He is the heart of the band.
And he shreds with a sound like no other. Fucking love his style and Tone

Does hop along have bad vocals? The meat puppets? WU LYF? Bright Eyes? The Blood Brothers? Snail mail? Cat Power? Primus? Amyl and the sniffers?
I’m sure there are plenty of people who didn’t like Betty Davis’ vocals.
They’re all pretty unique singers, and they’re def not for everybody, but I don’t think they’re bad.
I just chalk it up to general 90s malaise. It’s sorta like complaining musically.
