Found in the early days of the internet and fell down the wormhole.
Hahaha, I remember finding this as well, lovely graphic that somehow is both innocent and alluring!
As for me, I started a long time ago as a rope fetishist, who then got curious as to how to get more of it into the bedroom.
After a lot of knotwork I found shibari to be a lot more sensual and flowy, and thoroughly fell in love and spent inordinate amounts of time and money to learn it.
Meanwhile, I lost my rope fetish, but seem to have plenty of excuses to use ropes anyway ;)
OkCupid date asked to do specifically that. It was the most erotic thing of my life.
After that I started a little tying with dates and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Now I'm mostly interested, I don't have the time to practice.

If you get impatient, may I suggest looking into weekend intensive classes? A couple of those and some practice may let you suspend safely in months (depending on your teachers and dedication to practice ofc).
