Given how lemmy.world is a bit of a mess right now, is it worth considering moving all the football communities, including this one, over to fanaticus.social? or even setting up our own lemmy.football instance before the season officially kicks off?
One problem with the fediverse is that people hear of a single website like lemmy.world and think that is where everything should be placed. It being .world also makes it sound like a top-level instance, which is the best place to put things.
Excited to see how this community takes off when the season gets underway, it's understandably slow as of now but I have high hopes
