The she-wolf who raised Romulus and Remus was very CIVILIZED
(or, alternatively, as some Romans themselves speculated, as 'she-wolf' is Latin slang for a prostitute, they may have been raised by a very civilized working girl)
The Barbarians part is just a reference to the original post I cross posted.
