As with every time this is posted, someone has to come point out that this picture is completely unrelated. He had 2 prosthetics, both can be found on his Wikipedia page.

Guess I'm the one who gets to be pedantic this time!

Writing poetry, ha! Ash can crush a metal cup with his hand.

Writing with this thing sounds difficult because most of us write with our fingers. Proper writing technique is all arms since that allows you to write much more without fatigue. So as long as your elbows and shoulders are intact, you can just duct tape a pen to your stump and write just as well as you can with a hand. Think of writing on a chalkboard, but scale it down to a piece of paper.

They didn't have duct tape back then. Mechanical arm was obviously the only solution left

He also coined the popular German insult "Leck mich am Arsch" (literally "lick my ass").

So it does.

Another fun fact about the guy though is that he's credited with coining the phrase "lick my ass" in his poetry.

I’m fairly sure Catullus wrote poetry with similar phrases in it more than a thousand years earlier

I like the bit about his friends having to roll a natural 20 to get him out of gaol.

There is nothing stopping you from becoming a mercenary and getting your arm shot off, OP.

You reached the end
