Apparently Bayern offered a loan+option to buy deal which was rejected. Folks on twitter are calling Arteta ruthless, like Fabio isn't at the club anymore.

I mean he's better than Turner; can't see him being happy with being a backup but I'm down, he's a good player. Don't see why that's what we're doing instead of like, selling the people we need to get rid of first though.

Turner would be keen for playing time so Nottingham would be good for him, especially with the next World Cup being in the US. But I didn't see our number two goalkeeper being the priority sale this summer.

I don't know how Raya would be okay with being number 1 at Brentford to the bench at Arsenal.

If he's coming to Arsenal he's probably coming with the mindset to fight for the number 1 spot

Would be a shame, Turner is a very decent backup and perfect for penalties.

He came in old and inexperienced; was only ever a stop gap, maybe because we couldn't get Raya the first time/s(?) around.

Seems like a good improvement to the squad but I wish something was happening to keep Nketiah off the pitch.
