On the Peacock broadcast in the 2nd inning, Phil Nevin, Halos manager, said Taylor Ward is in good spirits after being HBP in the face last night. He has fractures in his nose and cheek, but his eye is okay
That’s good to hear, thanks for sharing. Hopefully he recovers quickly. It’s always terrible to see players hit in the head.

A sweep would have been nice :/ oh well! Great game from Daulton Varsho, with 2 hits. I'm rooting for Springer, I really hope he gets the bat going soon.
The battle of the AL East birds comes next. Jays are 7-20 against the AL East 🤮. If we can split the 4 game series with the Os, I'd be happy with that
