I can't see that button on the dash, but it's all kind of melt-y at this point.

That's just the cigarette lighter. All cars used to have them. Kids these days...

It usually means it is time to replace your power steering hoses, since they've cracked open and are spraying flammable fluid directly onto the engine block.

Don't worry, that's pretty normal for a British car. The fire will stop after 1 or 2 hours.
