Hello LemmyWorld! My name is Nicklas 🇸🇪, and I've been a Reddit user for almost 11 years, but I started getting disheartened when I found out that Reddit is shutting down Apollo and many other apps due to the extreme costs of Reddit's API.
So, hello to all of you, or as we say in Swedish, "Hej" 👋

Hi! Almost never used Reddit (I'm an old-fashioned forum user..) but now I'm running Lemmy.world I can see why people like this way of communicating. Welcome all!

Thanks 😊 I recall that Reddit hasn’t always had good or beautiful moments in the previous years, unfortunately. Reddit stopped caring about its members and focused on profit, which is sad.
Glad to be here, had issues with a Lemmy app on my phone, hence the delayed response.
Hi! I joined reddit ~10 yrs ago. Deleted all my account posts and comments today once I found the fediverse. Happy to be gone from there for good, and happy to be here 😀

I’ll be using Apollo until the end of the month, and then I’ll remove every little puzzle piece from my Reddit account!
I’m a new user here also and decided it was time to try Lemmy for the same reason. This is my first comment here and I don’t really know what I’m doing yet.
