The feeling in the pub amongst Liverpool fan is that he has let himself (and the fans) down. After all his pro-LGBTQ statements he now takes a big load of cash and buggers off to Saudi.
Yes, it's a really disappointing move by him. I have no problem with him leaving, but to go to Saudi after everything he's previously said and the causes he's supported... And for what? A big pile of money to add to his big pile of money.
