I made a banner for the sub
I often wished this was the banner over at /r/woodworking so we had something to point to that would clear up a lot of concerns.

But think how many negative dollars you save by building it yourself!
I have shifted to focusing on ending up with higher quality furniture for slightly less!
... Disregarding the thousands of dollars of tools and hundreds of hours of time involved, and the years of experience to stop being shit at making furniture
I thought "Woodworking" was what you called the hobby of collecting tools, browsing classified sites for more tools and collecting stacks of wood with "amazing grain and or figuring."
Haha that's what it is for me for sure
Why buy something when you could spent dozens of hours and * checks watch * wait, also spend way more money??
Even doing it by hand is a large outlay to get going, if you want to do anything beyond nailing two boards together.
Hell, just getting two boards is expensive these days lol
Added as our banner! Thank you for making it- it's great! If you have an icon that's better than our saw I got from google images I'll upload that as well
Thanks!
I'll see if I can whip something up for the icon - but anyone else is welcome to submit something. I am by no means a professional graphic designer.
So true! Funny stuff.
