Worms in my septic tank

Tons of worms. Is it normal? Isn't the septic tank supposed to be anaerobic so worms drown ?

I can't help, but I hope you find the solution you're looking for. Out of all the problems I want to have, worms in my septic tank and the consequent work needed to clear them isn't the last thing on the list, but it's pretty fucking far down.
I've read on some places that it's actually normal and they help decompose the solids, but I am not sure if this much is okay. Otherwise I don't notice any difference and the drain field looks normal
