Will I be able to play is on my 11th gen i5? I have a NUC, can't add a card, even if I could afford it.

Most likely not, considering a huge part of the remaster is the added Ray Tracing. This will require a powerful GPU.
When it comes out, it'll be available to all Half-Life 2 owners on Steam.
Well, I own HL2. Guess I'll try it for giggles.
