Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is releasing in 14 days, what aircraft are you flying first?

With the 2020 release, I took the classic C172 to a local grass field and flew straight to my home. I think I'll make it a tradition and do the same with this version 😁

Hope you get it to work! I'm glad they reduced the file size on this one. Makes it easier to see if I can get it to work on NixOs 😄

Cessna 172, bb! Keeping the tradition alive. Been using this game since back in the DOS days and the default was flying out of Chicago on the Cessna.

But it might be a while before I get MSFS2024. I'll probably wait until it goes on sale.

I'm looking forward to it but I'll probably wait a bit to see if it's stable at launch. I fly in VR and MSFS 2020 wasn't good in vr at the start, but kept getting better

Probably the VL-3 because it's my favourite simple GA aircraft, and has good visibility. I haven't pre-ordered yet but I will. I'm torn between Premium Deluxe, and Aviator, because I'll probably get my money's worth, but it is a lot of money lol.

Agree, Globemaster, A400M and Beluga will probably be the three planes I'll load in after the inaugural flight in the C172

Probably the Diamond DA62 since I have the most hours on it. From EDXH to ETMN

Looks like they don’t have the water plane with wheels with the car looking dashboard anymore. :(. That was my favorite plane. I flew it across the us.

AFAIK every base game 2020 plane will be in it, and marketplace planes should work as well.

You mean the Icon A5? I think I see it bottom right second row?

3

And another interesting question, what edition are you picking up, and have you pre-ordered yet?

Personally, I'll preorder the Premium Deluxe version sometime this week probably
