The goal seems to be to have a chilling effect not just on trans care but on advocates for trans care as well. Same logic as with the drag "ban."

Pardon, it was a civil investigative demand. As long as the AG provided a written statement that the information requested is relevant and material, specific and limited in scope, and de-identified information cannot be used, then judicial involvement is not required.

Props to the 2A nutjobs. For years they've been telling us we need to stockpile weapons to "protect against tyranny."

We didn't listen. So they took a more direct approach. Creating tyranny so that we'll take the need for arms to protect ourselves more seriously.
