I miss being able to disable inbox replies on Reddit on comments I wasn't interested in replies to and I'm wondering if there's a way to do this on Lemmy
Oh man, I could totally use this right now. My inbox is glowing from all the mastodon users finding a post on asklemmy. A lot of the replies are just boosts or "This!!" and I think that any actual conversation is long over.
That entirely depends on the client. Some doesn't even have notifications. So I would look for a different client, a good list available here.
On lemmy-ui (official client) other than ignoring them, there isn't. Lemmy is built around engagement instead of voting, so it's kind of integral feature.
On reddit they don't show up in your inbox at all when you disable inbox replies, so not only do you not get a notification, but you also don't see it when opening your inbox.
