My hero. Saving every one of these.

How are you getting that quality?!

I am starting with a good rip of the 4K release. (Not a lossless rip, because I suspect the file sizes would be bonkers). I used handbrake to convert it to mP4. I edit it in iMovie and add the titles there (it's challenging, because you are really limited in how much you can customize the titles. I export the clip as an Mp4, then I convert it in Gifski, where I set it to output something in the range of a 3-5 MB file.

Private Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?

Private Vasquez: No. Have you?

If you can find me episode numbers and timestamps that would make my life infinitely easier. As much as I love a good rewatch of Battlestar Galactica, that’s an imperial fuckton of content to sift through to try to find specific lines of dialogue.

I'm not certain if this was your intention, but this comes across to me as condescending. It's very hard to tell these days though, with everything being text based communications.

Nothing but good feels - thanks for creating something.

The visuals don’t work in this scene. Hudson is actually in the background for almost that entire exchange. I could cheat a little and just use something that looks like it is where it should be.

YES!!! I really wanted a "Let's rock!" gif but the only thing really visible at that moment is right after when Drake yells "yeeaahhh!!!" and the automatic gunfire goes off for about one second before cutting away. It could still work but not as gif-friendly as I'd hoped.

Hudson's last stand is probably the superior choice. He's super visible from this part here when yelling: "Come on! Come on, you bastard! Come on, you too! Oh, you want some of this?! Fuck you!" This gif would have great use!

Edit: Fixed video clip link

I did have to use handbrake to convert the 4K Blu-ray rip that I’m using because I’m using also iMovie, which won’t accept MKV files. I was getting fed up with the controls in iMovie because I have not used iMovie in probably 10 years and they’ve completely changed how everything works, and now it works extremely stupidly. So I may or may not have torrented a copy of Final Cut, which also I have not used in probably 10 years but with any luck is less enshittified, and more like what I’m familiar with. So we’ll see how that works out once I motivate to break that out.
