I'd say that going to clubs is active.

We usually go to a party or club once a month, maybe every other month. We've had some health problems over the last two years, which has meant fewer nights out, making it only three times this year, so far.

Sometimes when we go to clubs, we only play together, sometimes we make a nice connection. At house parties, there's usually more activity, and we find play partners most every time.
