I'm not entirely sure, but I'm in a very Northern climate and this variety is specifically capable of dealing with extremely low winter temperatures, like -30C. That's been one of the goals I have for this year, is to have my plants live until next year.
If I had a lot more of them then I probably would do that, but I've got a little guy who loves fresh fruit, they will be eating the moment they get picked. Haha

That looks very tasty, well done! What variety is this?

Oh man, I'm so envious; I had home grown strawberries a few years back and store bought ones could never compare.
Can you freeze them? Partly frozen strawberries with granola, yogurt, or ice cream are delicious.
