To each their own :). I've never liked tomato soup, don't know why. I like pasta sauce.

I have, still not my thang. But I'm happy you like your own tomato soup!

Ah yes, you must have used the only single recipe for tomato soup that exists. Oh well!

It's just one of those meals that makes me feel nostalgic. 😊 It's one of the few dinners I make that doesn't require any modifications from the way I had it as a kid in order to be meatless.

Made this the other day. Grilled cheese is good with cheddar—and it is, pretty objectively, "better"—but tbh I found myself pining for good ol' velveeta.

It's gotta be cheap American cheese slices all the way, baby. I prefer real (rennet-free) cheese for almost any other sandwich, but for a grilled cheese, there's no competing with Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product.

"Fuck you, that looks disgusting. Lemme try it to make sure it's not awful."

*slurping with mouth full of sandwich*

"Yeah, it's horrible. You wouldn't want any of this. In fact, I'm doing you a favor right now."

"Yeah, I'm crying right now because I ate it, not because it's gone."

For realsies, that looks insane and I'm super jealous. I hope it tasted even better than it looked!

What ingredients were used to make the tomato soup? It looks good

I used Campbell's tomato soup as the base, but I added some extra flavor with dried ground basil and rosemary, and topped it with a sprinkle of parmesan and parsley

I've done the Campbell's thing, I've also made it from scratch. Not my jam. But that's ok! And I'm glad others like it! It certainly a fall comfort food.
