You got the keyboard cable as well? I have one of these, but had to get a replacement cable which works, but doesn't look that nice.

Yep, that was the first thing I checked, since I know how hard they are to find. I did have to replace the membrane for the keyboard. I bought a new replacement from someone who makes them on sellmyretro.com. It works like new now.

I wonder if one could build a 64-maxi style machine with a little LCD display and USB keyboard in a shape like this. There would be lots of room for batteries and you could replace the local floppies with USB ports for thumb drives.

Wow, I didn't even know these existed. Apparently it was the first full-color portable computer? And also known as the Executive 64 or VIP-64?

SWEET!

Some people say that, others disagree. I'm not sure, but I do know it's very cool. :)

I had one for about 5 minutes. It was given to me by someone from craigslist or freecycle. Plugged it in - saw the white on blue text. Then, sadly, a white veil rose up from the bottom of the screen and it was no more. It's long gone now. : ^ (

Thanks! Yeah, I went and collected it, I didn't want to risk it being damaged in the post.
