It's like the Lakers somehow made a good trade the middle of last season, just to remember who they were and pull this lol

And I thought that after this year's success Lakers would figure out that making their team a retirement home ain't the way.

feels like a bad fit to me, LeBron and CP3 both need the ball in their hands to be at their best

you could have said the same about Kyrie and that worked pretty well. the important thing is CP3 is at least a decent spot up shooter whereas Russ was not.

Also Harden and CP3 were working really well until CP3 hit injuries.

You're not wrong, but Kyrie works really well in small burst of ISO and does not need to really drive most of the offense for a team and imho having CP3 as a mostly spot up guy is kind of a waste... in the end it all comes down to the contract he would be willing to sign, if he is dirt cheap and I was the Lakers I would still take him in a heartbeat for all the the reasons you said

Chris Paul in the Kyle Lowry role that the Heat were using him in would be a good fit I reckon.

The Lakers would have strong interest in signing Chris Paul if the guard is waived or stretched by the Suns, multiple team sources told @jovanbuha | Spyke
