There's a dish in Slavic cuisine called "kholodets", which is a filtered meat/bone stock that has been chilled to make a jelly with the meats inside. It's pretty good if you have been eating it since you were a kid, just got used to it you know. But this is some whole new level of creativity here, this cook is pushing the limits of trust.

Stop by Usinger's in Milwaukee and grab some head cheese. THAT'S pushing the limits of trust.

Delicious pork cheek? Yes. Disgusting pig brains? Also yes.

Has anyone reading this ever tried one of these horrible jello creations? I see them posted all the time and I have a few old cookbooks that list recipes. But… they have to be absolutely vile right? Lol

My grandma used to make things like this when I was a kid. It tasted pretty much like you'd expect hot dogs in jello to taste like. Not necessarily bad, but definitely something that had no business being put together

Usually it's unflavored gelatin, but technically you can add whatever fat-soluble flavor you want. Chicken, lemon, paprika, squirrel, whatever!

Dear lord lol. The closest I’ve ever seen in person is one of these made with mandarin oranges and whip cream which wasn’t too bad… can’t imagine hot dogs though!

I’ve made chicken soup from bones that has an almost jello consistency when refrigerated. It’s delicious, but I never ate it cold!

It looks like someone emptied the garbage disposal into a casserole dish and froze it.
