Weird, does lsp make a habit of locking threads with no explanation whatsoever?
Shitposts often descend into a flurry of mod reports, and locking is the easy fix.

Administration is a Sisyphean task for volunteers but you speak as if it’s a free resource.
There’s a reason Wikipedia calls their admins “janitors”.
So moderation is hard, so stop people from commenting on the platform entirely?
If the administration team is incapable of moderating their space they should seek additional help or step down entirely
Sounds like you’ve never had to be a moderator.
This type of forum relies on volunteers. They are doing the best they can. I rarely see posts ever get locked. I’m sure this one was locked because it got out of control.
The task force knows what you're doing and has the tools to stop it.

Lemmy is devolving to the point of occasionally making jokes, which is far more nefarious if you think about it.
I wish I was allowed to make jokes on Lemmy, sounds like a blast
