Getting dangerously close to actually having a ref sheet. I downloaded a free to use lineart and am slowly tweaking the lineart and filling it in.
I was going to use it as a rough guide along with some written text to an (as of yet unfound) artist to make me a real ref sheet... But now I'm wondering if I'd be able to use it as is...
My character does have a rather large "mane" which I'll need to lineart myself, so we'll see how that goes, I guess.
... I'm also wondering how much to go "horny on main" and stop hiding my nsfw accounts. :D
About a year ago (actually I think a year and 1 day), I took the conscious decision to stop caring and post whatever the community I'm in allows. It nice not trying to hid or talk around anything. I've so far been lucky and chosen the correct spots to participate.
Yeah, I'm kinda envious of people who are like "yeah, I post nude furries on my bluesky, deal with it. I have this fear that someone will "find out" and my personal and professional life will be ruined... Or I make a massive faux pas or something.
Now the following will be more as I say than as I do, but... I have no pictures of my own to post, and you can look through my history here to see the very NSFW stuff I enjoy. With that said, if IRL people find out, then they exist in the same spaces and it could become a shared secret. Even though that sounds logical to me doing anything IRL is still terrifying to me.
soatok has indicated a lot of coworkers know about his furry side and blog, but that's only one point of data.
irl life has been kicking my ass a bit recently, but some things have been nice. Got an updated ref sheet commissioned and done very recently, and I am suuper happy with it.
I've also been reconnecting with some friends on an old forum I haven't visited in about.. 8 years? It's definitely more quiet around there, but it's still around, and a few people I loved talking to stuck around, along with some other longtime users. New members are still coming in as well, it's been real nice (and time consuming) catching up with everything.
Honestly I very much relish kicking life's butt when I can. I feel I deserve it after getting dealt a pretty shitty hand, but I rarely get the opportunity to. I've seen many people say life gets better getting into your 30's, so maybe more opportunity will come later.
