Why does Kbin show posts from Lemmy instances with a source of kbin.social? The post in this image is from [email protected], but it says kbin.social in the parentheses.
Once installed (using a browser extension such as Tampermonkey), the settings are located under the settings icon at the top of the kbin sidebar.

That's because it's an Article type and there is no redirection happening. I have it in the issues, it will be fixed.
Cheers, to me (as a new user) when I see that it says it's from kbin but it's actually from elsewhere it becomes pretty confusing.
It would be great if there was a way to see at a glance where the content is coming from.
For now there are userscripts to fix this (and improve many other things, too!). I use and recommend this one: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/468612-kbin-enhancement-script
