If anyone's not in the know: Liz was Simon's first human client. He only represented dogs prior to her.

I never even noticed the text in his journal let alone the dog doodle

He said mainly dogs. Don't forget the turtle that Tuck was based on!

I paused just to read the text, but the dog caught my eye as well and was even more interesting!
