My sweet prince, Pickle/Pico. In memoriam.
August 2009 - January 2023. He loved me a lot -- he would sleep next to me on my bed, sit next to me at my desk as I worked, and follow me around everywhere. I miss him.

Absolutely beautiful. I have a similar one, long-haired, majestic and 12 years old. I'm not looking forward to his leaving. :/
He will live forever in your mind. He is never gone from your memories and loves you from there always.

I can agree to this sentiment you feel, with my own cat. I won't get in to detail about him in this comment, I will just say he died two years ago and I think about him daily, so I understand.
