The instance seems to be very active, which is great for them, but I had to block about two dozen communities on there to make the feed somewhat readable.
How do you guys sort or how are you coming across so many furry posts? 😆 My experience has been different than yours, and no, I’m not looking to see more of this content. Just curious.
Yeah, there's definitely an active group on Lemmy and Mastodon that has different interests than me.
Also a general instance block, for example I’d like to never see the lemmy nsfw instance or any of its communities

If you use the Connect app, it will allow you to do this. Unfortunately, instance blocks only exist within the app, but it's better than nothing.

I think it is possible but there’s a lot of effort to do this client side, and do it efficiently.
Yea I’ve struggled to find active niches but there’s loads of Garbo memes, porn and Linux stuff. Working on building my own feed but…Christ 😄
