I've been using it since v4 launched and it's one of my favourite things ever.
Exo's been working on these packs for-EVER. He's done so much for the preservation of DOS games over the years.
Technically this is not preservation in any academic sense, since all the games are modified to not need installing and to work from the launcher.
It’s absolutely preservation in use in an academic sense, just not following best practices for archival of the original data.
I wasn't aware that we needed to adhere to the academic sense here on fedi.
