So auxiliaries really took a hit for no reason I think?
But pretty much all the T'au units (minus Darkstrider, Drone squads, and a little bit our fliers) seem to have a net positive with wargear. The points floor has risen in a couple places, but the points ceiling has lowered. And now we really should take all the most expensive gear 'cause there's no reason not too.
I think on the points front, T'au can be relatively positive!
Just wanted to recategorize to look at the changes in a different way!
Also, here's the direct link to the T'au Data Cards PDF.

I'm not really sure I understand battlesuits anymore. They've lost Assault on their weapons, so I guess everyone's taking Coldstars now. But they're (Flying) Vehicle Walkers now?
So they can Tank Shock lmao (5 or 6d6, MW on a 5+). For 1CP, do three crisis suits roll 15d6? And then they can shoot their guns while in Engagement Range (at -1 to Hit unless you take Weapon Support Systems to prevent that), or shoot their guns while Falling Back (again, if you take the Battlesuit Support System for that). It's kind of a silly picture, but ~5 MW to clean something off the table is a fun trick to keep in your back pocket lol.
And vehicle helps them survive the CIB Hazardous overcharge? (On a 1, model destroyed -> 3 mortal wounds instead.)
But they can also be shot at while in Engagement Range 'cause Vehicle lol. And worse, anti-vehicle weapons apply to them too.
Just take coldstars.
