Closing in on 1k members! Still missing 12 communities for individual teams. If you're a fan of one of these teams start a community!

The following teams still have not contacted me to be included in the sidebar. If you're a fan of one of these teams feel free to start up a community! I will help moderate it until more people come along to pass the community over to if you don't want the responsibility. (or if there is already an existing community please comment it for inclusion).

With r/nba closed indefinitely, more people will likely stumble upon this community, the best way to build a strong community, for now, is to also have fans and communities for all teams.

I’m more of a UNC former players fan than a Hornets fan so wouldn’t feel right being the one in charge of that group. I basically follow the hornets around draft time and then check in on them during lulls in college bball

Can someone create c/memphisgrizzlies, I don't want to be the one 😅

My team the Heat got to the finals, but I'm all alone too haha. I guess everyone else decided to not move over. We can be the solitary fans club.

How do you view the sidebar?
Edit: nevermind I figured it out. I’m browsing via kbin and sidebar is on lemmy side.

Just created !rockets. Still figuring out Lemmy and I've never been a moderator, so would definitely like help on that end.

Houston Rockets

Ah, since it's in a different instance (i.e. lemmy.ml not lemmy.world) I don't think I can comment there without creating a new account, which means you can't mod me

So... I'm not a Lemmy.world member, so I assume I can't start a pacers community?

If someone starts it up I will fill it with posts (there is still an active subreddit for them unfortunately, but there is also a very active discord, both of which would provide good content to port over)

lemm.ee

Why not? As long as your instance doesn't defederate from other lemmy instances like lemmy.world, we should be able to access and subscribe to a Pacers community if you create one

Honestly... I forgot I was no longer on Beehaw who doesn't allow self-created communities.

Lots of changes happening with the Raptors - enough that I’d like to be able to get back in a conversation with someone.

I guess I'm the only Heat fan all alone here having to cheer myself up with no Heat family.

You reached the end
