A Florida judge tentatively agreed Thursday that live ammunition could be used in a reenactment of 2018's mass shooting inside Florida's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as part of a civil lawsuit.

This is one of those articles that seems absurd and disagreeable from the title, but it's actually sensible when you read why. It's worth a full read.
It is, but damn what a dark situation.
TL;DR the purpose of the reenactment is to show that the resource officer would have been able to tell the direction from which the shots were being fired and there’s a difference in sound quality between blanks and live rounds.
