One month in photos: Calgary Event Centre begins construction

Construction on the new Calgary Event Centre, now known as Scotia Place, began quickly after its official groundbreaking on July 22.

Thank god we're spending hundreds of billions on a venue for billionaires and their teams, instead of on transit, infrastructure, etc.

Oh well, at least the profits from all ticket sales eill also go to those billionaires.

I love how much money taxpayers spend on this shit but it's the corpos that get to name the place.
