It's kind of to be expected that there'd be a few interoperability hurdles between kbin and Lemmy. As far as I know, neither of them can claim to be the "definitive" standard on how to handle threaded conversations in the Fediverse, and it's pretty impressive that they work together as well as they do already.
I'll just try to format my posts in a way that works on both sites going forward.
