Blocking communities you're not interested in is, I think, a part of how the threadiverse should be used. It doesn't need to be any bad blood or anything, just curating your feed.
Having the same communities then bleed into other completely unrelated ones is understandably annoying.

I had to block the Linux community since it seems to be taking over all of Lemmy. Kinda annoying tbh
