Mash came out on Jan 30th 1970, unix time stamp starts Jan 1st 1970.

It looks like this is also true for older Windows systems.

I looked here for MASH's release date - it says Jan 1 - so I don't know who's right.

FunNerdy fact, Windows OS starts at Jan 1st 1601. It was based on the Gregorian calendar, which has 400 year cycles. The cycle starting in 1601 was the current cycle when they made Windows NT.
