I just got done watching all of Sex in the City, and one thing that struck me is how much they all needed a man in their life for some reason. (Except Samantha, which is why she's my favorite.)
So I'd say women today are more independent, which I think is a good thing. I've been in a relationship with someone who needed me and it was awful. Now I'm in a relationship with someone who wants me and it feels so much better.

I'd agree. Being needed is a massive drain on my mental energy. Better to find a lass who's hungry like the wolf.
