The worst thing were finding those more hidden quests. Especially the RNG drops, or the ones with the statues.

You're not lying. Looking for the hidden quests without knowing if you had already done them and just sort of blindly farming for a bit took by far the most time.

The last one I was missing in the end was the crumpled note in Caldeum Prison which has a low drop rate to boot.

I think my last one was glittering ore in Hawezar. I used a guide for easy to miss quests and I also had a good portion of them tracked through the D4planner map, but it didn't had all the quests at the start so a lot of them were added later, combined with me maybe forgetting to check some off myself, creating a bit of a convoluted mess. Still, I was able to narrow it down to some potential ones and just farmed the locations for several days, which every guide lists something else too. Absolutely painful. I knew the UI was bad but I can't believe they skipped on something as important as this.

There's some really hidden ones. Emote in front of three statues of the prime evils and it starts a new quest.

The dungeon completion seems really tedious, how do you go through it?

And is there any reward for completing it all?

4

I basically just did the dungeons whenever they had a whisper on them. A few each day whenever I had time. But the last 15 or so I just bit the bullet and grinded them out while watching TV on the side.

As for a reward.. Just a feeling of smug superiority and very limited bragging rights.

7

Nope. No reward, not even an achievement. Nothing. Honestly a bit of a slap in the face. Especially since they couldn't even be arsed to add a questlog for already finished quests. Took me several days to track some of the last missing ones down. Definitely not fun, but probably a good indicator of how much of a chore the FOMO pass will be.

I'd hope there's at least an achievement. I was disappointed there wasn't one for getting max renown rewards.

I'm still nowhere close to finishing all the side quests and dungeons. Once I get to WT3/WT4, there just doesn't seem any reason to grind through all the regular dungeons.

There is nothing at all on top of this hill except green letters on the map screen.

3

You get credit for regular dungeons when you run them as nightmare sigils, and just doing that and bounty dungeons will net you dungeon completion

This is how I did all the dungeons before season 1 came out

I started pushing my through this, but once I realized only altars and fog of war carried over season to season, I just gave up and focused on those.

only altars and fog of war carried over season to season,

Don't half of the renown things apply to all characters?

1

I think a lot of it is shared, but I don’t really play characters after a season ends so I’m only focusing on what will be carried over from season to season.

I believe it's separate for eternal and seasonal. Without knowing I assume it should be the same for hardcore as well?

1

They've packed as many unfun tasks into this game as possible to pad play time. The moment I found out that only Lilith statues and the fog of war would carry over into season 1, I decided I was done with this game. Here's hoping that Remnant 2 is good!

What's the 4th icon? I'm drawing a blank.

Edit: I think it's areas discovered
