No. I think this is a way that the "old guard" are trying to introduce barriers to access.

It also seems like insurance and motorcycle industry are trying to protect their stake in an emerging market.

I fully support sold ebikes being sold to standards, such as speed limits, battery safety and mirrors.

I don't support any standards. Let customers shops make their own risk analysis. It's a damn bicycle.
